SicilyCulture: welcome to Sicily in London

This is my first blog post using my brand new website, made by myself. It's quite exciting.

I want to start this new experience by introducing to you SicilyCulture.

SicilyCulture

SicilyCulture is my cultural project in London about my native Sicily . It takes inspiration from the Sicily Exhibition at the British Museum and it wants to continue the good vibe! It is a community of Londoners and British people with a great passion for the magnificent heritage of Sicily.

Like SicilyCulture on Facebook and follow it on Twitter and Instagram!

There are a closed group of FB and a newsletter, as well. Please keep in touch if you want to part of it.

I visited the exhibition by curators Dirk Booms and Peter Higgs last April and it is excellent, I liked it a lot! You can read my articles in Italian on Londra Italia and on Live Sicilia.

SicilyCulture's name is an homage to the exhibition: what will last, after it will end this coming August? Also, Sicily is "best for Culture" according to The Telegraph.

The next "SicilyCulture lunch talk" is on the 13th July with senior BBC Radio 4 producer Dan Saladino in conversation with author and academic Geoff Andrews!

The BIG OPENING took place last June, with the first "SicilyCulture lunch talks" with writer Simonetta Agnello Hornby. Have a look at our photogallery below
